ImageFrame Ltd was created out of a passion for photography and is headed up by
David Cattanach working with a number of other experienced and qualified
photographers. As you will
see from the portfolios and events displayed on the main page, ImageFrame covers
subjects spread
far and wide ranging from corporate events to weddings to aerial imaging.
David Cattanach, like millions of others, started by taking extraordinary
pictures when he was a child. Extraordinarily bad that is. People's
noses, washed out family portraits, underexposed sunsets. But occasionally,
just occasionally, he'd get a photo that was fantastic, inspiring, colourful and
bright with some amazing emotion captured somewhere in that thin piece of photographic
paper.
"Some of these pictures I still keep and look at from time to time. I went
through the camera phases, (110 format; dad's handed down Instamatic; luckily
never owned a disc camera but oh, I wanted one!) before settling down to 35mm and
more recently digital and medium format. Each of the latter three formats
have their uses and if I didn't mind getting mugged or looking nerdy I'd carry all
three types of camera around with me everywhere."
David studied photography at Reading, holds a Masters degree in computing and his work has been used in several publications.
